Two new tracks available on our homepages

Today we’ve replaced two of the tracks in the player on our homepages, so that you guys get a chance to hear some of the other tracks from our album A New Decay. The two new tracks available in the player is “Redefine” (which is a song with both metal inspirations and progressive elements) and “Sleepwalker” (which is a short to-the-bone rock tune).

Enjoy!!

Boil

Back from summer holiday

Hi all, hope you all had a nice summer holiday. We are back from our own holidays and are ready to kick some ass once again, so here’s just a short update:

- Last Saturday we played at Day of Decay festival in Aalborg. And yes, although the program was entirely and utterly death metal, Boil had managed to sneak into the program as well, so guess that proves that everyone might need a tick tack during a long day of coffee drinking;-) Thanks to all the people who nodded approvingly in the crowd and came up afterwards to talk or to buy our new album etc.

- Booking has been initiated for a mini-November DK tour. More to come about that later

- The album has been out in Europe for 3 weeks now, and so far it has resulted in about 15 European reviews with an average rating of 8/10, so naturally we are excited. Also a Boil interview should appear in the next German version of “Metal Hammer” (released 25. August), so be sure to get your hands on that magazine if you’d like to follow our first small steps into the vast European music jungle. We look forward to see what else will happen for us in Europe these next months.

- We have begun jamming 4 completely new songs, and although they all still have the classic Boil ingredients they are definitely more experimental and also a bit more metal than our previous stuff. An 8-string guitar and some weird percussions are part of the new tools we have thrown into the pot this time. So it’ll be exciting to see in what direction the songs will end

- Our street team (the sleepwalker army) could use plenty more foot soldiers (especially from outside of Denmark) to help us spread the word about Boil. If you really dig the band and would like to help us, then send us an email via myspace and we’ll make sure that our street team contacts you asap.

By the way, the band photos will be up at our own sites within a couple of days, so come back soon!
